Project objective

Project initiated by the need to improve treatment processes hemoglobin derivates within the exacting standards of quality GRIFOLS.

Product development

The aim of the project focused on increasing the capacity of production batches without sacrificing quality standards and low thermal stress autoclave production.

Rush project phases:

  • Adaptation to all different sizes and shapes of product on preset volume autoclave.
  • Design geometry trays.
  • Study and tests most suited to thermoplastic.
  • Design tooling and injection molds.
  • Manufacture of injection molds.
  • Preproduction validation.
  • Series production.

Conclusion

The system stored and processed has been consolidated within the production process of our customer, being exported to Group facilities in the US market.
